Available Programs

We recruit and encourage qualified students from all backgrounds to apply to our graduate programs. The international applicants are also welcomed to both MS and PhD programs. This Institute does not offer any clinical specialty training.

MS Program
The Master of Science degree is designed for students who want advanced research training in Oral Biology. The program requires a minimum of 24 credit hours, of which 10 credit hours are from the required courses. This program also requires a thesis.

PhD Program
Doctor of Philosophy degree is designed for students who want advanced research training in Oral Biology. Students are expected to gain proficiency in Oral Biology with an emphasis in modern investigative methods.

The PhD degree requires:
1. a minimum of 18 credit hours for students who have a master degree; or a minimum of 30 credit hours for students who have only a bachelor degree
2. passing the qualifying examination
3. dissertation research and the successful defense of the thesis
4. one of the followings:
a. one scientific paper accepted by an SCI Journal with an impact factor greater than 5
b. one scientific paper accepted by an SCI Journal ranked top 20% in its field and with an impact factor greater than 4
c. two scientific papers accepted by SCI Journals
